What inspired you to introduce BowNow?

Mr. Deguchi: The reason for introducing the MA tool was because I wanted to more efficiently “obtain and discover prospective customers”.
Business in the printing industry has always been based on the business practice of "visiting the customer many times, taking the customer's order, and increasing sales". Of course, it is necessary to have a salesperson who can talk face-to-face as in the conventional way, quickly detect customer requests, and respond immediately. However, in line with the coming times, we were also searching for a more efficient business by utilizing our homepage and MA. Under such circumstances, we chose BowNow, which has a simple function that even a printing company like ours can easily operate.

Why did you decide to introduce BowNow to your customers?

Mr. Deguchi: Originally, I wanted local companies in Fukui to know more about marketing know-how, and I was looking for a good tool to use it in-house or to propose to customers.
Even with the spread of the Internet, Japan still has a very low EC rate. In addition, most local companies specialized in area business, and most of them were local companies. Under such circumstances, local companies may be able to further grow their businesses by using the power of the Internet and marketing. Few companies in the region still have specialized marketing departments, but they are gradually changing. I would definitely recommend MA to companies with such growth potential.

What was great about BowNow in recommending it to your customers?

Mr. Deguchi: Many companies in I prefecture have many manufacturing industries. The majority of industries are new fields (medical devices, etc.) that utilize the metal processing technology for glasses, textiles, automobile parts, and glasses. I often participate in exhibitions in such industries, but I often hear the voices such as "I do not feel the effect" and "I am not following the business card after that".
In addition, B2B companies such as manufacturing companies have the premise that they have fewer leads than B2C companies. BowNow has a simple function that can take measures even if there are few initial leads, and the introduction cost is low, so I thought that it is also perfect for customers who want to start with a small start. At the time of examination, we also compared the MAs of other companies. Each has its own merits, but I felt that the difficult functions such as scenario design and pipeline management are too complicated for a company that is engaged in marketing for the first time.

What kind of measures are you currently taking with BowNow?

Mr. Deguchi: Envisioning a sales system in which the process of "acquiring and discovering prospective customers" is made more efficient with MA tools, and the process of "suggesting prospective customers" is handled by sales as before. I would like to realize the efficiency of MA tools and increase the productivity of the entire company while taking advantage of the relationships with customers that we have built up to now.
In the future, we also plan to launch a direct recruiting owned media specialized in Fukui Prefecture, and we would like to utilize BowNow for lead management.

How do you propose to your customers?

Mr. Deguchi: We are currently making proposals to the government, inns, wedding halls, etc., and we would like to propose a plan that combines the printing business, which is our core business, with BowNow's lead management function. For example, by reading the QR code printed on paper DM, you can acquire lead information and measure the reaction rate.

【Future Outlook】As a curator of marketing information

How do you plan to use BowNow and marketing measures in the future?

Mr. Deguchi: We are hosting a seminar called "Makenext" and a study group called "Makeup Up Fukui", and are actively working to introduce the next-generation marketing technology to Fukui. Today, there are so many marketing tools out there that companies don't know which one to use. As a lot of information overflows, we would like to play a role as a curator to take root of marketing know-how in the area by gathering that information.
I think that many large companies in central Tokyo have already established a separate carrier system for marketing departments, sales departments, and after-sales departments. There are many cases. However, such a system is being reviewed little by little. I think BowNow is a very potential tool for companies that want to start marketing in the future because it is easy to start small. I would like to continue to utilize this so that local companies can design marketing strategies and continue to grow in a consistent manner

【Customer's Voice】Expected to work with paper media and API

Mr.Deguchi: Since we are a printing company, we would like to receive an idea to use BowNow's functions effectively in cooperation with printed matter. In addition, in order to expand the range of future use, we also expect to expand the functions by linking APIs with SFA and CRM!
