Mr. Watanabe:
We are a company that supports sales promotion and marketing using ad technology, and our main product is an ad serving system called DSP. Seventy percent of our customers are in the manufacturing industry, 20% are IT companies, and 10% are other B2B companies, so we specialize in B2B companies.

Depending on the plan, we analyze heatmaps, access companies, and give advice on where to place buttons.
 

【Challenges before implementation】Looking for a tool that I could recommend to my customers.

Why did you decide to implement MA?

Mr. Watanabe: Originally, I wanted to use an MA tool, so I did a lot of research. At the same time, I also wanted to incorporate any good services for creating contact forms.

If there were any tools that we thought were good, we would introduce them to our customers.

Our company is strong in ad serving. In the course of providing marketing support with DSP to many companies, we felt that there were many companies that needed to improve their websites.
No matter how hard they tried to advertise, there were many cases where the main website was difficult to use and did not lead to inquiries.

When I thought about how to solve this problem, I thought that the first thing we needed to do was to improve the forms. There were other things that needed to be improved, but the inquiry form was too complicated to allow people to casually inquire or download documents. This would not lead to the acquisition of potential customers.

So, while looking for an MA tool, I was also looking for a tool that could create an inquiry form.

What made you choose BowNow out of the many options?

Mr. Watanabe: Ease of use, price, and the ability to analyze access.

It was about 4 years ago that I started to look into BowNow, but I couldn't find many inline frames that I wanted to put in a single landing page. There was only your company and a few other companies that supported it.
After comparing them, I found that BowNow seemed to be easy to use, inexpensive, and had MA functions. It's so good, I thought.

For about 20,000 yen, you can create all the forms you want, send emails, and submit lists. Moreover, you can see the companies that have accessed the site. With BowNow, I thought I could do everything I wanted to do.

I tried the free version at first and found it very easy to use, so I changed to the paid version and am now using it fully. I have recommended it to our clients as well.

What kind of measures are you currently using BowNow for?

Mr. Watanabe: I made about 25 forms with BowNow.


The forms are very easy to use. I especially like the fact that you can easily create a form on the landing page, and when you fill in the form and submit it, it will take you to your company's thank you page. This way, you can do a good analysis and another conversion can be created.

There are many products that send you to another site or page when you click the "Contact Us" button, but the conversion rate drops due to one more click, so BowNow is very easy to use because you can put the form inside the page.
So BowNow is very easy to use. I think it is a good tool for content marketing.

I also sent out two emails, one to the individual person in charge and the other to the company address. The purpose of the email was not to get inquiries, but to provide information about the materials available.

The next day after I sent the email, I received about three downloads of materials. This was a new customer that I hadn't been in contact with recently, so it was a good opportunity for me to call them.
There were fewer rejections than I expected, and I learned once again that open rates and click rates are low when the address does not reveal the individual's name.
 

What specific results have you seen since you started your marketing efforts?

Mr. Watanabe: We have set up a process where we send an email and call the company after confirming the company visited our site through the access history. I think the access history is determined by the IP address of the company. That history can be viewed in real time, so if they are browsing the website now, there is a high possibility that they are inside the company. So if you call them right away, the chances of them answering are high.

【Future Outlook】Continual approach with newsletter distribution.

What would you like to challenge in the future with BowNow and marketing initiatives?

Mr. Watanabe: E-mail distribution, I guess. During the COVID pandemic, I have often been unable to get in touch with the person in charge, so I have tried sending faxes and DMs. I would like to continue sending out e-mail newsletters as part of this process. It's easy to send out once you submit your list.

Right now, we have about 20 different content types, and I would like to combine them to send out e-mails. I would also like to combine the content in different ways and test which one gets the best response.

Mr. Watanabe: Not only can we use it as a simple phone list, but if we know that the access history is identified by IP address, we can use it to think about the timing of phone calls like we do. If it's an existing customer, it's an opportunity to target additional sales.
The form is also very easy to use, and I think it is a tool that can be used in many ways.
